Meet the Cover Model

"Marcus" is incognito for the party. Marcus? Are you there? Tell us a little about how you got chosen for the Bastards cover, how you liked the project, and what your experiences have been as "Marcus."

  1. Yes. I'm here Avah. Just stopping by to say "Congratulations" again on your new novel, Smoke & Mirrors! I am looking forward to continuing the Lost & Found saga series. To answer your question, I had a blast as "Marcus" on the cover of "Bastards" and I've actually been recongnized in public a few places around the country as "the guy on that Avah LaReaux book" so I have had a very enjoyable time. Thank you so much for the opportunity...

  2. Thanks for agreeing to do the project. We've got two more titles. Do you think you're up to another shoot?

  5. Hi Marcus. I am so excited to see you here! Can you tell me a little more about your photo shoot? I mean how was it working with the photographer? Was there a certain look they were going for or were you able to get in there and do your own thing?

  7. The shoot itself was pretty laid back. The photographer had an idea about the background she wanted but didn't want to manipulate the photo itself. She encouraged me to feel the set, and let the character show his "feelings" about his past during the shoot. She got in a zone and we kinda just vibed off of each other.
